New gowns don’t match up to the elegance of the vintage 30’s one of a kind gown and this is no exception. The dress is labeled “Mary O’Conner” and it has some of the most beautiful bead work down the front in a leaf and floral design with cream pearls and miniature seed beads. Starting at the lovely heart neckline the front panel is all one piece gathered at the hips and moves to the back where there is a massive train. In the back are 35 fabric loops and covered buttons, along with 8 similar button closures on each sleeve. There are hooks that aids in bustling up the train. BEAUTIFUL………
