Jack could be Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, or any of the signers of the Declaration of Independence in this wonderful colonial costume/ The jacket, vest and nickers all match in a burgundy velour with trim and 1/2 vest in burgundy and gold brocade. All gentleman of this time wore this type of garb along with a lace jabot and lace ruffles at the wrist. To complete the look long white socks and buckled shoes, or as we do it buckles that go over shoes were worn. This looks great with a white wig with a scarf and a tricorn hat. This is a great outfit for a social studies project or Halloween.
