This full circular wool 1890’s cape with fabulous detail is in great condition for its age. The wool felt cape is fully lined with a cotton fabric and it has inside pockets in the front. The collar has a scalloped effect with several layers of top stitching and below the collar are two unique button closures with antique buttons. There are three strips of self fabric down the front and around the cape. The color is not quite black anymore, in fact has somewhat a brown tone to it. The label on the cape is “Wool Tex” trademark.
