This is an exceptional gown for the tall, statuesque woman for a party in the 40’s or for today’s wear. The dress is black crepe with the bodice top having a beige sheer fabric around the front, shoulder and to the back closure and finished off with a leaf design along the bust line in black bugle beads. The bodice blossoms over the velvet ribbon band at the waist which attaches to long flowing rayon crepe skirt with left side zipper opening. The body form I used does not do justice to this marvelous dress.
