This garment is another very appealing bias cut silk velvet evening dress which fits to the body beautifully. The maroon velvet long dress has a V neckline accentuated with a wave like design in clear bugle beads and seed beads and that design pattern is also at the hip line. There is gathering under the bust line and at the sleeve cap with the addition of smocking on the underside of sleeve. At one time there was a mesh fabric along neck and back that was torn so we removed it for a cleaner more alluring look. The back of the dress has a belt which could cinch in the waist with two covered buttons. To help keep the shoulder up we attached a small ribbon. The dark colors in velvet are very difficult to photograph so some detail is missed.
