Here is another wonderful creation from the Gibson 1900 era which again is good for a garden party, wedding, or any other occasion that you want to look ladylike. The bodice again is cotton batiste fabric with an extra overlay of eyelet lace with a scalloped edge which forms a V from shoulders to waist. The dolman sleeve is an extension of the bodice and there has been an inconspicuous repair on the dolman sleeve with eyelet lace. The skirt has pin tucking that radiates from the waist to the end of the first skirt layer. The cut work is a leaf pattern with a satin stitch which is delightful. The second layer is made up of similar antique fabric that has replaced the original that was damaged. The opening is in the back snap closure and I have added a newly made belt to finish it off. A blue slip was photographed with it to show off the lace effect on the bodice, any color could be used.
