There is no comparison when it comes to this exceptional antique dress in style and condition for the age of this dress. The white cotton ensemble has been relined in a durable yet attractive white cotton fabric. The exterior of the dress is all cutwork, tatting and lace inserts (close examination is necessary). The front overlay has a Bertha collar extending to the front and back waist and the sleeves come out from underneath the collar. The bodice blossoms over the waist cincher and the back closure are small pearl buttons down the back. The entire skirt and hem is marvelous cutwork, lace inserts and tatting.
