1950’s---War is over; this is now the time of innocent fun and femininity. Christian Dior’s look was very powerful in haute couture, with the emphasis of a cinched waist, soft shoulder lines, full skirts with petticoats, matching shoes and purses and small hats. Young and old enjoyed all the new inventions, especially the TV and the influence the stars had on clothing.

1950's sweater

Be green & gold in this 1950’s 100% wool cardigan letter sweater. The sweater sports a label “Denhen” knitting Co. of Portland Oregon, gold D on left side and 5 buttons with pockets.

1950s Blue Taffeta Dress

Attractive is this 50’s navy blue taffeta swing dress. The style is perfect for dancing with the full skirt, large hip pockets that are accented with buttons and ruching. The bodice has raglan medium length sleeves, large boat neckline with 3” inserted ruching panel.

1950s Ivory Beaded Gown

Great looking 50s dress for vintage weddings or evening parties. The bodice has gold beads in a floral design, the full skirt is lined with dotted Swiss net over skirt.
