We have added some replacement pieces down the front and at the neck but it is still a great addition to any vintage collection.

The main dress is original but it has had some lace on sleeves replaced to make it wearable. It has a exceptional look with fringe down the front and jet buttons at the waist.

The dress is black silk chiffon with beige embroidered inserts at the neckline. Silk satin trims out the dress at the waistband, trim along the bottom hem, sleeves, neckline is lined with same fabric. This very delicate outfit is a treasure.

The neckline is V shaped with sacatache braided trim travels down to high waist where dress closes with hook and eyes.

The bodice again is cotton batiste fabric with an extra overlay of eyelet lace with a scalloped edge which forms a V from shoulders to waist.

I call this the heart dress for the continual heart design adoring this cotton batiste dress. It is shown with a turquoise slip underneath to emphasis the pattern in the fabric. Whatever color we would use a matching hat would be very effective.

Remember, these are one of a kind so don’t hesitate to pick them up. This cotton batiste fabric has in this dress a little simpler inserts of lace and cut work, but it still includes the high neck, cinched waist, and back closure of hidden pearl buttons and snaps.

The wool felt cape is fully lined with a cotton fabric and it has inside pockets in the front. The collar has a scalloped effect with several layers of top stitching and below the collar are two unique button closures with antique buttons.
